Teeth whitening

An attractive smile is an integral part of oral health.

The color of the teeth is not the same in all people. Many have dark teeth from birth.   In other teeth darken with time, for several reasons: smoking, age, injuries, diseases of the dental nerves, etc.

Whitening can improve the natural color of teeth without covering them with a foreign material.

How is tooth whitening done?

Where appropriate, the bleaching can be done in the dentistry with the help of a laser device or at home using special splints.
Usually, the dentist supplies  the patient with two soft splints which are specially made for him to fit in the upper and lower jaw.  A special gel is placed in the splints and they are worn a few hours a day for 10-12 days.
